I published my erotic romance Protecting Their Heart quite a while ago now, and I'm working on the second book of the Lunar Falls series right now.

Meet Alice, Liam and Noah
I'm working on an instalment for the Lunar Falls series. I'm trying to keep it short because it's an extra little story I hadn't planned on, but what can you do when the plot bunnies are stubborn? Nothing to do but write. Keep reading for a small introduction to the members of the Accalia wolf pack and the woman they want to claim.
Alice Taylor
Alice has come to Lunar Falls looking for a safe place to live where she can earn money to work off an inherited debt.
She's started waitressing in the diner alongside her new friend Sammie. (Does anyone remember Sammie?) She has no family left now. No siblings, no cousins. She's alone in the world. Although, not for much longer.
She has long, red, curly hair, a wide smile, and a curvy body, and she's bright, lovely, and smart. She's an optimist and sees the good in people.

Book Goals
"I think
books are like people, in the sense that they’ll turn up in your life when you
most need them." – Emma Thompson
I'm a romance writer so it's no secret that I love books. And romance books? Them's my jam. Reading and writing are major parts of my past, present and future. I've always read, I've always written, and that isn't going to change.
Writing
Goals 2024
We're nearing
the latter part of the year, and I have writing goals to fulfil, and not much
time to do it in. The scraps of writing time that I snatch are becoming more
and more important if I'm going to achieve my goals.
- Accalia Mini
This is the
book I'm working on now and obviously, that is not the official title, but the
filler title for the novella that is my work in progress. It's a shifter
romance that I'm shimmying in, between Protecting Their Heart and Rose's story.
- Martha's Book
It's gonna get
written, I swear it is. Slowly and surely the words that tell Martha's
story will get typed. It's just going to happen after Accalia
Mini.
- London Baby
This is a new
series and I'm working on book one, and the goal is to have it written by the
end of the year, even if it's not printed until next. It's a menage romance set
in my favourite city: London.
Those are the three. The three that I want to complete in 2024. Before January 1st 2025 my goal is to complete these projects and then start fresh with more next year. I just have to cram it in between motherhood, day jobs and sleep. I can do it.
Reading
Goals 2024
Up to now, my
goals have been to read my library books and reduce my TBR pile, but I've got a
lot of books and my TBR pile does not seem to be reducing. After my trip to the
book stall at the market, it's actually bigger than it was.
Reading goals are fairly general for me, because you don't know what you'll feel like reading until you're choosing the book, but there are a few authors that I would like to catch up on, because I've fallen behind.
Lack of funds means I can't always afford to buy the books I want and so the novels by my favourite authors that l like to own and display proudly on my bookshelf are building up.
- Gena Showalter
The Lords of
the Underworld series is one my favourites. I absolutely love the books but the
last one I read was The Darkest Touch which means there are about six Gena
Showalter books I have yet to read. Some major catching up to
do.
- Nalini Singh
The writer love
of my life. Oh, Nalini Singh, your words are so perfect. I managed to buy two
of these books when I got a book gift card, but there are still a lot of them
that I don't own. I need my Nalini books for my bookshelves!
- Eve Langlais
Kindle
collection. Eve Langlais's books are funny, sassy and the women are curvy and
don't take crap from anybody. She also writes and publishes quicker than I can
afford so there's a large backlog of these books I have yet to buy.
- Kresley Cole
I feel like
Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter go hand-in-hand. If you've read one, then you
have to read the other. Maybe I feel that way because for me, one led to the
other. Paranromal Romance is my favourite genre, and Kresley is the
queen.
I Love the
Love Books
Obviously,
there are way too many books on my to-buy list for me to get and read this
year, but if I can just get some, I'll be a happy romance reader, and if I can
complete my writing goals, I'll be a happy romance writer.
I've got book lists all over and I can't wait to see that list go down.

A New World
I'm currently working on the first book in what will be my third series. This series is a little different to the others because it doesn't include any supernatural elements. This series will be a love story set in London.
The Three Series
The three series of books I'm writing are The Shadow Coven, Lunar Falls and this, as yet unnamed London love stories compilation, and these are the worlds I will be concentrating on for the foreseeable future.
As a romance writer I love creating worlds and watching them develop and I can't wait to write the stories of all the characters who are just waiting to fall in love. Read on for a little information about the worlds that are about to grow.

Protecting Their Heart Release
Release day is coming!
Protecting Their Heart is the first instalment of the Lunar Falls series. It's a menage love story between Penny, Adam and Ethan.
In this paranormal romance, Adam and Ethan are wolf shifters, part of the Accalia Pack, and they're out running when their mate is literally chased into their arms. Their new mission is to keep her safe from the stalker determined to have her and to make her fall for them at the same time.
The Lunar Falls series will be a collection of romance books that follow the shifters and their future mates who live in the small town, as their lives are transformed by love.
It's a sexy story with lots of passion and lots of romance, and as a romance author, I love writing feisty females who don't let their alpha mates get away with being bossy.
If you're interested in reading anything else I've written, then River's Heart is a paranormal romance about a witch coven who have their curse lifted and are now free to find love. You can even take a look around my website and get some book extras.
Protecting Their Heart is out now and you can buy it from Amazon here if you're in the US, or here in the UK. You can also get it from Smashwords here.

Conversations With Characters: Protecting Their Heart
Sometimes when I'm telling their stories the characters from my romance novels get a bit chatty. They're not necessarily helpful, but as a romance writer, it's nice to talk to them.
Protecting Their Heart is my current Work In Progress. A menage shifter romance that is at the moment, in edits.
Chatty Characters
Adam: It'll happen if it needs to happen.
That's not really helpful.
Adam Continued: (Shrugs) Was aiming more for honest.
Ethan: I say do it. (Pause) Wait, am I in it?
That's not the point.
Ethan Continued: If the scene involves me or Penny, then I say keep it.
Adam clears his throat pointedly. At Ethan's blank look, he lifts an eyebrow. Ethan rolls his eyes.
Ethan Continued: Fine. Me, Penny or Adam then keep it.
Obviously one of you is in it. It's your bloody book.
Ethan Continued: Then keep it. You know what I say about a book about us. The longer the better.

Witches of the Shadow Coven
River: River is a dreamer. She has no biological family, but she found her own in the coven when they took her in. She’s optimistic at heart and she loves her sisters and the small apartment she calls home with two of them. She hates confrontation and at the age of twenty-four she is the youngest coven member.
Martha: Loves books of all genres. She was a librarian and always loved her work and she believed she was content with her life, but now she's restless. In need of a change. She hasn’t dated much until recently and she’s not sure it’s for her. She’s always been happy in her own company, and with her sisters. Quiet and un-confident, she’s one of the younger coven members, in her late twenties.
April: She may look like she’s only in her twenties but April found her way to the Shadow Coven when she was twenty-three and she’s been there for the last twenty-years. She froze into her immortality age twenty-five because she took a long time to decide if it was the life April wanted. She has no regrets, but that’s because she has no family.
Simone: Simone was the third member to join the Shadow Coven. She bonded with them when they were building the coven back up. She doesn't talk about her age, but they know that she was alive at least three hundred years ago. Her mother was a witch, though she wasn't a member of any coven and though she loved her mother, her father was a hard man.
Eva: She’s stunning, really beautiful, and she’s always been highly coveted by other people. She’s brazen and strong, and she doesn’t back down from confrontation. She’s always had a mysterious air, and she was a dancer. She was twenty-one when she joined the coven and twenty-two when they initiated her into her immortality.
Rose: She was born just after world war one and she has happy memories of her early life. She was in her thirties when she entered the coven. She's a striking witch, truly beautiful. She's highly intuitive and loves to cook, making her own recipes. She loves a dinner party which she subjects her sisters to multiple times a week.
Corey: Corey joined the coven in 1959. She’s loving and strong and she’s the one who will spend every second of her day helping other people if they need her. She’s never regretted joining the coven and because she’s had some bad experiences with men so she’s doesn’t feel like she’s missed out by not having a mate.
Bethany: One of the few witches who still needs glasses after gaining immortality. She was completely blind though, so glasses is an improvement on what it used to be. Bethany joined the coven in the very early 1900s. The moment her sight returned, she fell in love with art, and with photography in particular. She’s rarely without a camera. She’s strong and smart, but she thinks of herself as a nerd.
Lucy: She’s hyper and wild. A brazen, confident woman, but at the same time she has her vulnerabilities. She’s just good at hiding them. Lucy joined the coven in the 1950s. She drove her parents crazy with her antics right up until she found the coven.
Eleanor: Eleanor joined the coven in the 1860s. She is graceful and elegant and it’s ingrained right down to her soul. She’s danced her whole life, and she loves ballet but she’s never done it as anything more than an interest. She loves her sisters and is one of the earlier members of the Shadow Coven.
Jennifer: Jennifer joined the coven in the 60s. It took the coven a long time to earn her trust and it was years before she joined them completely. She was twenty-six years old. She didn’t rush into the decision and she’s never regretted it.
Victoria: Victoria was friends with Helen as a girl and when the original Shadow Coven fell, she was there to help build it back up. Victoria was such a good girl when she was a child, but over the years she’s added spice to her soul. She’s sexy and vivacious, and she goes after what she wants.
Helen: Best friends with Helen, they played together as girls. She saw the fall of the Shadow Coven, it was with Victoria’s support that she made the decision to continue the coven. For a long time it was just the two of them, so they're close.
