I don’t know what it is about the start of 2019 but my
motivation has abandoned me. It ran away, leaving me a shell of a romance
writer, whose stories are waiting to be told.
Luckily River’s Heart is written, so all that’s left is the
release, but my shifter story is stalled right at the start. Oops. Fear not, my
new series will be coming, I just have to find my writing mojo first. Coffee
helps, but my birthday has been even more productive because my brilliant
family did the one thing that gets me writing.
They bought me stationery!!!
Notebooks, pencils, and pens, oh my. I love brand new
stationery, and there’s nothing more likely to get me scribbling than a new
notebook, with blank pages to write all over. It’s the opposite effect I have
to staring at the white page on my computer. That one has the power to empty my
brain of all imagination.
In fact you might call me a stationery hoarder. I have
drawers full of pens and pencils, post it notes, highlighters. I love going to
functions where you get free pens, and I have a bad habit of pilfering them
from my family members. I blame it on being a writer. I’m sure we’re all like
this.
Don’t leave me hanging, if you’re a weirdo stationery lover
then tell me. And feel free to tell me your favourite stockists too.
